On Friday, Feb. 21, former Central High School standout Kelan Hoover’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, lost 9-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
The game took place at Durham Field. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at Durham Field against Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
