On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Central High School standout Kelan Hoover’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish.
The game took place at J.M. “Jake” Rubin Park. This was their first matchup against the Sailfish this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 12 p.m. at NSU Baseball Complex against Nova Southeastern Sharks.
