Shenandoah University Athletics issued the following announcement on Feb. 5
The Shenandoah University women's basketball team ran its winning streak to seven games Saturday with a 52-47 overtime victory over Guilford College.
Shenandoah (14-4, 9-4 ODAC) kept itself in the hunt for a top four seed at the upcoming ODAC Tournament with the OT victory over the Quakers (6-12, 4-9).

Olivia Weinel, one of six women recognized prior to the Senior Day contest, put the Hornets on top to stay with a pair of free throws with 91 seconds remaining.
A Terese Greene jumper at 39 seconds and one of two at the line from Sierra St. Cyr clinched the win for the hosts.
The extra session heroics came after SU rallied from an eight-point deficit to take a nine-point, 33-24, lead with 1:11 to play in the third. The Hornets held Guilford to just six points in the third on 1-of-16 (6 percent) shooting.
But Shenandoah went cold in the fourth. The Hornets were just 3-of-14 (21 percent) from the field in the final stanza and Guilford made up that nine-point deficit 39 seconds before the end of regulation.
St. Cyr, who scored the initial bucket of overtime, led the victors with 15 points. Weinel had 13 and Greene 10.
Shenandoah shot 31 percent (21-of-67) from the field had a 52-47 edge on the boards.
Lindsey Gaudlin had a double-double for Guilford with 18 points and 10 steals. She played all but 22 seconds of the game.
