LeadHERship Series on March 8

Salem Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Our members asked, and we've delivered! In partnership with the Virginia Western College of Career and Corporate Training, we have developed a 10-month Women's LeadHERship Series for women across all industries.  The series emphasizes the unique gifts and strengths of women and provides tools for empowerment and success.

The goal of this Program is to create a community of leaders across all industries who will provide ongoing community and support to each other.

Schedule and Course Topics:

3/8 Grace & Grit: Achieving your vision in the face of any adversity.

4/12 Difficult Conversations- Conflict as a Catalyst for Change

5/10 Mentorship Program Development

6/14 Neuroplasticity & The Cognitive Gifts of Women

7/12 Diversity Equity and Inclusion: Creating a Sense of Belonging

8/9 “Hold the Mayo” – Life Balance in the Sandwich Generation

9/13 Innovative Workplace Communication: Impacts of Digitization

10/11 Overcoming Imposter Syndrome and Making the Ask

11/8 CARP Design Principles : Essentials for Effective Visuals

12/6 Marketing Principles: Graphic Design using Canva

This program is limited to 30 participants and is expected to sell out quickly.

Virginia Western Community College

Natural Science Center

3/8, 7/12, 8/9, and 10/11 will be held

Fees/Admission

Members $350 for all 10 sessions

Non-members $400 for all 10 sessions

If the program does not sell out, individual sessions will be offered at the following rates.

$45 Non-Members
