The Shenandoah University volleyball team is the pre-season No. 9 pick of the ODAC coaches in poll results released Monday afternoon by the league office.
Shenandoah is coming off of a seven-win season in which the Hornets made their second consecutive appearance in the ODAC Tournament.
SU has 58 points in the poll to come in 12 points back of No. 8 Roanoke and 16 in front of No. 10 selection Guilford.
Perennial league power Washington & Lee is the pick to win it all again in 2022. The Generals had a perfect 144 points on 12 first place votes. Voting was conducted on a 12-1 basis with coaches unable to vote for their own teams in the poll.
The Hornets open their 2022 season Thursday at Hood College. The home opener is Sep. 16 versus Lancaster Bible.
