Winchester, VA – Yesterday, Congressman Ben Cline concluded his three-day healthcare tour across Virginia’s Sixth District. Throughout the tour, he visited various healthcare facilities, engaging with professionals and observing the efforts of hospitals, clinics, and organizations dedicated to delivering quality care.

“This Healthcare tour has been an invaluable opportunity to connect with dedicated individuals in the healthcare field and hear their vital concerns, as well as those of their patients,” Congressman Ben Cline said. “The insights I gained from visiting these institutions and speaking directly with healthcare workers are critical for my work in supporting effective healthcare policies. I am committed to ensuring that our healthcare professionals and their patients have a strong voice in the policymaking process that impacts their care and well-being.”

Congressman Cline concluded the last day of the tour by meeting with representatives from Shenandoah University’s Health Professions School and Valley Health Winchester Medical Center.

On the first day of the tour, Congressman Cline visited several facilities, including Sheila S. Strauss Hospice House, Friendship Richfield Living, the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at the Virginia Tech Carilion Center, and the Clinic Center for Simulation, Research, and Patient Safety.

On the second day, Congressman Cline was in the Harrisonburg area, where he visited Augusta Health in Fishersville and James Madison University’s Nursing Program.
