On Sunday, March 23, former James Wood High School standout Jayden Nixon’s current college team, the Concord Mountain Lions, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Salem Tigers.
The game took place at Frank Loria Memorial Field. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 5 p.m. at Durham Field against Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
