Shenandoah Valley Airport issued the following announcement on June 2.
We had a “little” visitor passing through at #SHD ! This is a C-130, it was introduced into our US military fleet in 1956 and is still in service.
The C-130 ”Hercules” is a four engine turboprop originally designed as a troop medical evacuation and cargo transport aircraft.
It has undergone some changes and updates throughout the years and continues to be used in a wide range of military tasks!
