WASHINGTON, DC– U.S Congressman Ben Cline (R-VA) today announced the retirement of his long time Chief of Staff Matthew Miller.
"After 30 years of federal service Matt wraps up a distinguished career encompassing pivotal roles in both the executive and legislative branches," said Congressman Cline.
Miller, reflecting on his retirement, added, “It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve others. The ability to make a difference in people’s lives has been my life’s work, and I am thankful for the leaders with whom I have had the privilege to work."
Congressman Cline expressed his gratitude towards Miller, stating, "He has demonstrated unwavering dedication to assistance and advocacy for others, which I have personally witnessed since I came to office in January 2019. I extend my profound gratitude and thank him for being by my side for the last five years."
Miller also thanked Congressman Cline and his staff, saying, "Ending my service working for the people of Virginia’s Sixth Congressional District is a perfect place to wrap up my tenure, and I thank Congressman Cline and his staff for giving me this opportunity."
Congressman Cline and his team bid farewell to Miller, wishing him "fair winds and following seas" as he enjoys his retirement from public service.
