County of Ablemarle issued the following announcement on Aug. 16
The swimming beach at Walnut Creek Park is closed for the last weekend of the swim season. We hope you will visit us at Chris Greene Lake or Mint Springs for summer fun and a refreshing splash.
Swim Schedule
Chris Greene Lake Park: Thursday - Sunday, 11am-7pm
Mint Springs Valley Park: Thursday - Sunday, 11am-7pm
